Goodwins Theory of Editing and How I Would Use it in a Music Video?

In this post, I will be going through Goodwins theory of editing and how I would use some of its theory to make a music video successful.

With Goodwin, His theory of editing involves him only focusing on graphic effects and different motion effects for music videos. For example, it would involve taking one bit of a music video and changing the way it looks i.e. colouring or change of appearance.

If i was to use Goodwins theory, I would personally use more of its changing appearences techniques to make it look different towards the music video. I would also add in more background colour to make it look more effective and graphical. Finally, I would also involve loads of motion (Mostly slow) and keep it original.
