Vernallis Theory of Editing and How Would I Use Editing in a Music Video?

In this post, I am going to go through how I would use slow motion in a music video and how I would make it look effective and successful enough to become an amazing music video.
Firstly,  there is an important person in the music industry that makes music videos look amazing by involving editing; Vernallis. Vernallis theory involves using as much editing techniques and skills to make the music video look outstanding and fantastic enough. Some of the editing techniques he mostly uses involve slow/fast motion, cutaways, different shot durations, etc.
If I was to use editing in a music video, I personally would involve a lot of slow motion for most of the shots and involve no fast motion at all. I would also make some of the cutaways be in time with the music to make it look more effective and amazing. Finally, I will also do different shot durations to make it look successful enough and mostly do some of the shots on the band members, background situations and also instruments involved in the music video.
